Transforming Programme WP5 - B – Adaptive, collaborative and competitive production

CePHIM aims to develop new concepts for hybrid production lines, focusing on technologies with a high potential impact capable of increasing the production capacity of companies in the metalworking sector and, consequently, strengthening the competitiveness of this sector.

In particular, a Hybrid Intelligent Stamping Production Centre will be developed, which will implement a new range of mechanical presses and associated tools, with a modular and flexible configuration, high rigidity, and a manufacturing methodology that will guarantee the sharing of a large part of the base components between models with the same capacity, in order to reduce customization costs and delivery times.

A conditioned maintenance system will also be developed, fed by data from the sensors installed in the machine, and a Digital Twin of the same with the capacity to analyze the dynamic behavior of the press, which will analyze the data obtained to recommend predictive maintenance actions.

A Hybrid Intelligent Production Center for Material Bonding and Internal Channel Opening will also be developed, which will stand out by applying a material bonding technology, and associated innovative variant of internal channel opening, to the implementation and manufacture of innovative intelligent tools intended for incorporation into existing CNC machines and thus making the particular capabilities associated with these technologies accessible to companies in the metalworking industry.“
