INEGI Presents WP16 Results at Motek Fair 2024 in Stuttgart

INEGI participated in the Motek Fair 2024 in Stuttgart, showcasing the Industry-UP project at the Produtech stand. The project focuses on developing a unified framework to extend the lifecycle of industrial equipment, combining technologies such as Digitalization, Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, and Additive Manufacturing. Highlighting its broad applicability across industries, Industry-UP will feature an online platform for real-time equipment monitoring and maintenance. This presence at Motek 2024 demonstrated the consortium's commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in industrial operations while fostering collaboration with partners from diverse sectors.

Between October 8 and 11, 2024, INEGI participated in the Motek Fair in Stuttgart, as part of the Produtech stand, showcasing the Industry-UP project.

This initiative focuses on developing a unified framework to extend the lifecycle of industrial equipment by integrating advanced technologies such as Digitalization, Machine Learning, Predictive Maintenance, and Additive Manufacturing. Several partners are involved in applying these technologies, each contributing expertise to create a comprehensive solution. Industry-UP helps businesses predict, plan, and manage equipment lifecycles, enhancing efficiency and sustainability. Additive Manufacturing supports this by enabling cost-effective part repair and optimization, reducing waste, and extending equipment lifespan. Within the consortium, the project brings collaboration with five industrial partners from diverse sectors (Pibra, Adira, CEI, CHETO and Derma Leather), ensuring broad applicability across industries.

A central outcome is an online digital platform that connects to industrial equipment, processes real-use data, and provides tools like Predictive Maintenance algorithms to identify issues early, minimize downtime, and maximize performance.

By integrating these technologies into a cohesive framework, Industry-UP promotes sustainable industrial operations and equips stakeholders with tools to extend equipment lifecycles. INEGI's participation in Motek 2024 in representation of the project underscores the consortium's commitment to advancing industrial sustainability and fostering a circular economy for a resilient future.
