INEGI Presents WP15 Results at Motek Fair 2024 in Stuttgart
From October 8 to 11, 2024, INEGI participated in the Motek Fair in Stuttgart, at the Produtech stand, where it presented results related to WP15, focusing on the Digital4Circular topic. During the event, the digitalization process of the Vista Alegre demonstrator was highlighted and virtually showcased a prototype for automatic defect detection, aimed at optimizing quality control and reducing the impact of repetitive tasks on workers' health. This project also seeks to promote the transition to a more circular economy, focusing on sustainability and industrial efficiency.
Between October 8 and 11, 2024, INEGI participated in the Motek Fair in Stuttgart, as part of the Produtech stand, where it showcased the latest results from various Pilot Projects (PPS) within Work Package 15 (WP15), focusing on the main topic Digital4Circular.
Motek, one of the most prestigious fairs in the industrial automation sector, served as the stage for presenting innovations aimed at digitalization and efficiency in production chains.
During the event, INEGI stood out by showcasing the digitalization process of the Vista Alegre demonstrator. One of the key highlights was the presentation of a prototype for automatic defect detection, developed to optimize quality control. This system aims to reduce errors in the product inspection process, as well as the physical impact of the repetitive task of plate selection on workers' health.
The project also aims to contribute to the transition to a more circular economy by applying digitalization technologies that promote sustainability and efficiency in industrial processes. INEGI's participation in the fair underscores its commitment to technological innovation and the development of solutions that address the challenges of modern industry, while also promoting workers' well-being and corporate sustainability.
