First Thematic Webinar on AI

WP01 in cooperation with WP19, as entities responsible for the project's communication and capacity building activities, have planned to hold a set of Thematic Webinars for the partners of the PRODUTECH R3 consortium.

The first Thematic Webinar, on Artificial Intelligence and entitled "AI in Manufacturing: different modes of human-machine interaction", took place on July 17th. Counting on his enormous knowledge and experience in this area, and to which we leave, once again, our thanks for his availability and participation, the session was presented by Bernardo Almada-Lobo, Co-Funder & Partner at LTPlabs and Full Professor at FEUP, graduated in Industrial Engineering from FEUP and AMP (Advanced Management Programme) from INSEAD.

The opening session of the event was held by the coordinator of WP01, José Ângelo Pinto in organization with the coordinator of WP19, Sofia Veloso Ferreira. With a high attendance, more than 70 participants, this session, lasting about 1 hour, demonstrated the importance and scope of artificial intelligence in the day-to-day lives of companies and individuals.

At the end of the presentation, there was still space to ask the questions that the audience considered pertinent and that served as a motto for the exchange of ideas between the various participants of the session. These webinars aim to cover some of the most pertinent topics of today and the following sessions will be announced soon, with the next webinar expected to be held in September.
